About Me
With 15 years experience working in education, I have been lucky enough to work with all primary key stages delivering all primary subjects. 7 years ago I began tutoring all ages including adult learners studying for GCSE’s.
At 2 Cool 4 School Tutoring, helping your child or young person reach their full potential is my top priority. As a dedicated and supportive tutor, I create a friendly, structured and fun learning environment in a safe, dedicated space at my home, on-line or at your home (logistics dependant) that helps them to feel confident and motivated.
I adapt the learning to fit every student’s unique style of learning and personal interests wherever possible, building strong foundations to achieve their academic goals - whether that is excelling in exams and grammar school selection tests or simply falling in love with learning again.
As a member of The Tutors Association I'm committed to upholding high professional standards. With continued professional development to keep me up to date with best practices in education.
Emotional Literacy and Mindfulness
In addition to academic learning, I am qualified and experienced in emotional literacy
support, Children and Young people's mental health and counseling skills. This enables me to help children boost their confidence and self esteem as well as teaching children coping skills and giving them the tools to learn how to self manage anxiety, self
regulation, loss and bereavement and social/friendship skills. These are booked as a block of 10 weekly sessions.
